For I Am A Rock, I Will Wait.

I sink; I never swim.
I play, but never win.
I try and try to live but I
am afraid that I am dead.

I stay; I never go.
I run, but I am slow.
I'd travel far, but I have no car
and I doubt that I could drive it if I did.

I sit; I never stand.
I cannot raise my hand.
I'd grumble and groan, and I'd cry and moan
and I cannot gloat for I have no throat.

I am deaf; I cannot hear.
I see but only my fear.
I muster and muster up courage but I fluster
because there is nothing in life I can do.
