Windows Should Be Thicker.

Windows should be thicker.
So often do windows break, and glass is shattered all across the floor.
If you think of how many people die of broken glass each year, specifically caused by windows breaking, I'm sure you would be startled and/or terrified.
That is because the number of deaths caused from windows breaking is enormous, I'm sure.
Why do so many people die from windows, you say?
Well the answer is simple! Windows really aren't all that thick.
I know, there are people always telling you that windows are very thick.
"Those windows, you see those windows?" they will say. "Those windows are plenty thick! There isn't any possible reason why those windows should be any thicker than they are right now!"
And to that, I disagree, respectfully of course. But frankly, windows could be much thicker.
Sure, in some places, like in the cages surrounding old dinosaur fossils in museums, the windows are quite thick. But that is a rare occasion.
There are so many windows in other places that are nowhere near as thick as in museums!
Why is that? How much could a window possibly cost?
Wouldn't it be worth it, for all of those extra lives to be saved?
You'd think so, but maybe not.
Maybe those "Window Makers", as I call them, personally do not care about people dying over their thin and feeble windows. Maybe they secretly like that their windows are killing people.
I'm going to go out on a leg here and say that I don't like people dying, especially because of windows.
Now, before you lose your temper, hear me out.
People dying is not always a good thing.
Sure, it means less overpopulation, and more food (like fresh and delicious meatloaf, for instance) for you.
But what if the person who dies is your lovely grandmother? And what if that same grandmother is the person who would make you that delicious meatloaf?
Now then, wouldn't that mean that her death would actually mean less meatloaf for you?
I'm no scientist, but I'm pretty sure that it would.
That is why windows should be thicker, and people should start taking a stand.
In my room, the windows are double-paned.
I'm not really sure what that means, but I am sure that if I threw a rock at my window, it would most certainly shatter.
Now, I know that I am not going to throw a rock through my window intentionally. But what if for some reason I do accidentally?
Or what if someone else entirely throws a rock through my cheap, transparent window?
What if I happen to be near the window when the rock is thrown?
Personally, I don't want my windows breaking, and I don't want myself, or anyone else to die because of it.
If something doesn't change soon, more people will probably die, and that is why windows should be thicker.
