Vampire

Yesterday I forgot something.
Some things you need to remember.
Like birthdays, when Christmas is, etc etc.
But this was not one of those things.

Some times the past can seem
Much brighter than it really was.
You must never go back there
This is not what you have become.

Progression feels so empty.
When it takes a long, long time.
And then after so much time
You see someone else in the mirror.

I couldn't help to stop
At that shop that sold those things.
How descriptive of me,
but if you'd been there, you'd know.


Starting this again
with how the last year has been,
I don't know what I'm getting
myself into.
