I tried to sing again
all those songs in my head
but the love and hope just got
drowned out again
by incessant meandering
into things better forgot
like why I can't seem to remember
to change back the clock
when it's time to save time
I end up losing mine
so some early rising farmer
can have a later glass of wine.
