Mayday mayday!
This ship has sprung a leak
So many miles from shore
And not seaworthy I think
Where do we turn now?
Once our fingers can no longer plug?
What life support will be left?
Once the water fills our lungs?
So many pieces of machinery
Moving in almost perfect symmetry
Each part plays their role
While I'm idling and overheating.
Overwhelmed with what I haven't done,
I'm petrified to move even an inch.
How can it all come crashing down
When you never created anything?
So many words to call a man bad
So many reasons to inflict this torment
He deserves it, he surely does.
What reason do we have to forgive?
A magnitude of isolation
Can hit you like a warm wind
But the humidity, they say
Is what drives you insane.
Never bothered with so much
Always waited, waiting, wait!
The time just passed, so close.
You should have been here sooner.
